Big Doins'

Al is really hitting his stride these days.

He's rolling like a madman and pulling up (on us, not on furniture).

He shows little interest in crawling, but as Auntie Becs said, 

having him on your lap is like trying to hold a squealing piglet.

Also! He is now hand-feeding himself these delicious foods:

rice cakes

pears

bananas

peaches (frozen)

avocado

puffs

cheese

graham crackers...and more to follow as we're introducing something new every day

we're super excited about THIS!!

Midwinter Blues

Not much happens here in the middle of January...

Last weekend, Al and Mommy took a trip to

South St Paul and, ahem, the MOA.

It was very nice to see Auntie, Annie and Grace.

Alistair is wearing a hand-me-down from cousins and while

Auntie thought it was a bit boyish for her girls,

here I see it is a bit girlish for Al.

Tough boy outfit.

And, since Granny has a fancy camera, here are some of here great pics from AZ.

It seems like a different world.

This was not a relaxing Christmas trip, but we had a  blast.
