Funny Sunny

Thursday was a great day- Lunch with Daddy...

....and blowing bubbles with Auntie Becs ....

Hi Guys! (see Grandma in the background?
Grandma and Grampy came along too!)

...and Mommy's cousin Hannah,
who will have a little second cousin for Al to meet in November.

Blue started the day shaggy...

And ended up a lot smaller

Shorn sheepdogs do NOT hold still for the camera!
Too light and frisky.

He had a good romp in Mayo park later that night.

A Sunny Day and *Lots* to look forward to

Summer is back in Rochester...it was beautiful today.
We went for a walk to the library and to visit that silly Daddy at lunchtime.
Close up of worried face - Don't worry, Al doesn't worry nearly as
much as his Mommy and Grandma.

Someone we know is developing round little drumstick legs!
Daddy likes to help him practice standing.
Of course, our child is VERY advanced ; )

A family picture from Friday - everyone was off to work.
(or off to nap, as the case may be)
Thanks, Grandma Rob., for taking pics!

We can't WAIT for fun events this weekend...
...a visit with Auntie Becs and Mommy's cousin Hannah
...a visit with Nick, Amy and meeting new cousin Charley!
...meeting Uncle Ben and Auntie Caitlin.

And most exciting of all...
On Saturday, we are going to South Carolina to see ALL the McKie Aunties and Uncles.
Plus bonus: Cousin AIDAN!
Al doesn't know what a great time he has coming up...
but Mommy and Daddy do! We are packing spy novels and sunblock
and are *ready* to share Al baby with willing babysitters
while we swim in the ocean : )

ps - please forward any suggestions for beach reads to Al's Mommy ASAP.

Buddies

Al's very first friend is Oliver.

On Sunday, we visited Ollie and his mommy and daddy.

Al and Ollie with their mommies.

Ollie and Al with the daddies.

Usually our babies are more photogenic.

(Usually!)

Oliver weighs 14 lbs and sleeps through the night...
we aspire to this.

Looking like a big boy!

Strollin'

When the weather is nice, Al likes to stroll.

With Grandpa...

with Mommy...
...strolling to visit Daddy...

...strolling with Grandma.
With sheepdog brother walking alongside!

4th of July!

Lucky us! We had a great July 4th weekend. On Friday, Alistair and Mommy went to a
celebration in Spring Valley...
Al and Mommy with Jess and the beautiftul Claire.

Alistair with Jim and Bryce...

...and with Mari!

On Saturday, Mario, Riki, Jon and Jessie came for a cookout.
Mario brought the fireworks....

...which Alistair sort of slept through. But he was happy to show off his frog pajamas from Lauren, Julia, and Grace.

Sunday Steve came for a visit, and we all watched the Wimbledon final and went for a nice walk.

Here's Al and Steve, both pulling hard for Andy Roddick.
Oh, well!

We've had some nice weather in Rochester.Blue got a new ball.....

...It lasted about 10 seconds.

So the boys decided to play soccer.

Got it!

Mommy was happy when that game was over.

Bathtime

Reunion!

About 2 weeks ago, our prenatal prep class had a reunion.

Almost everyone made it...6 healthy babies and lots of happy parents.

Babies: Gavin, Alistair, Oliver, Oliver, Zoe, and Cameron

Here's Stacy-Ann, Kitty (our wonderful prenatal prep instructor), and Al's Mommy.
Gavin and Al are there too, just hiding away!

And. here are Garfield, Stacy-Ann, and Al's parents
just a few days before the babies were born.

In other news, yesterday Al got to meet a new friend: Rebecca!
He was happy as a clam to cuddle with her and later go for a stroll.

Hanging out with daddy in a particularly spider-monkey-like pose.

Cuddling with Mommy.
